Tag Partner terms
You are an independent contractor, not an employee of IRL Tagteam or its customers. You choose which tags to claim, when to work, and how to complete them within the tag’s stated requirements. You are responsible for your own taxes. IRL Tagteam provides the marketplace, verification, and payment rails.
What this means in practice
- You decide what you take. Nothing is assigned to you, and declining a Tag costs you nothing.
- We verify where and when. While you are capturing proof, your device reports its location to our servers, and we record the time we received your photographs. That is how the Place and Time locks work, and it is the only reason we can pay quickly.
- Your location is used for Tags, and nothing else. We do not track you between Tags, and we never give a customer your phone number, your email, or your home area.
- Rejected work is not paid. If the locks fail, the Tag goes back to the feed and your reliability score takes a hit. If you think a rejection was wrong, open a dispute and a person will look.
- Payouts go through Stripe. You will complete Stripe’s onboarding before you can claim your first Tag, because we will not let you work for money we cannot send you.
- Taxes are yours. Stripe will issue the relevant year-end forms based on what you earn.
